The publication services of the KIT Library include the repositories KITopen and DIVA as well as the KIT publishing house “KIT Scientific Publishing”. Research results and educational material originated at or in close connection with the KIT can be published here.

KIT aims to document all publications by its researchers. In addition to the full text documents freely accessible in accordance with open access principles, the KITopen repository therefore also includes bibliographic data of KIT publications as reported by scientists or institutes.

  • KITopen allows to deposit both inital and secondary publications. Most publishers allow authors to deposit their secondary publications in repositories. Please refer to the SHERPA/RoMEO list  to have an overview of the different publisher policies.
