What should be considered when publishing doctoral theses?

The initial publication of your doctoral thesis via KITopen is recommended. Your dissertation will thus be published within a few days, and the notification will be sent to the examination office immediately. This allows you to receive your doctoral certificate promptly.

For cumulative or publication-based theses: At the time the publication order is placed with KSP, you must already have obtained the publication permissions from the original publishers. Among other things, these permissions must allow both commercial publication and publication under an Open Access model.

What should be considered regarding formatting?

Our production team will keep you informed and involved throughout the production process of your publication.

All information on formatting your publication can be found under Document Templates and Layout.
