Zoning Plan

The study areas in the KIT Library are divided into different zones to provide optimal learning conditions and create an atmosphere that supports both focused individual work and productive group work. Signage in the divisions helps you find the right zone.

An overview of our three study areas:

Working Together for a Better Learning Environment

The zoning concept depends on everyone’s cooperation. It is important both to follow the rules in each Division and to be considerate of one another. Furthermore, it helps significantly when users act as advocates in their own circles and draw attention to the rules. In this way, a learning environment can be created that meets a variety of needs.
