During the 2026–27 winter semester, KIT Library will once again participate in two cross-institutional collaborations aimed at teaching information literacy.

The libraries of the Alliance of Leading Universities of Technology in Germany (TU9) and the libraries of the Baden-Württemberg Information Literacy Network (NIK-BW) are opening up selected online seminars to interested students and researchers from partner institutions.

This semester’s offerings include seminars on the following topics, among others:

  • Academic Citation for Students and Researchers
  • Predatory Publishing
  • Copyright in Teaching
  • Data Analysis and Preparation with OpenRefine
  • Taking Notes for Courses, Projects, and Written Assignments with Obsidian

Curious? The current dates are marked as “TU9 seminar” or “NIK BW seminar” in KIT Library’s event calendar.
