Research Impact and ORCID

This is me. This is my research.

Research impact demonstrates when scientific work generates added value, drives innovation, and contributes to sustainability in society. To make this impact visible and document it unambiguously, it is crucial to reliably attribute research results to their respective authors and academic institutions.

ORCID supports researchers in this effort. With a unique, permanent personal ID, publications, data, and projects can be linked worldwide to the individuals involved, making them traceable.

As part of the KITopen and ORCID campaign under the motto “This is me. This is my research.” the campaign demonstrates how easy it is to link the two systems KITopen repository and ORCID, and what added value this provides.

One ID. A lifetime of impact.
