The staff of KIT Library will be on their company outing on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. As a result, adjusted opening and service hours will apply on that day.

KIT Library South: No services (e.g., withdrawal application, issuance of new library cards, media checkout), Regular access is available (24/7 with a valid library card; without a library card, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
Closed: Libraries at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and the DHBW, the Subject Libraries Mathematics and Architecture, and the Media Center service desk (at InformatiKOM)
Open as usual: InformatiKOM, the Learning Center at Fasanenschlösschen, KIT Library North, and the Subject Libraries Physics and Informatics

On the following working day, all our facilities will be open as usual.
