Through LEA, KIT employees and students can order free scans of articles from print journals at the following locations or libraries:

• KIT Library South
• KIT Library North
• Chemistry subject library
• Physics subject library
• Computer Science Library
• Mathematics Specialized Library

Please note that articles from licensed electronic journals cannot be ordered through LEA, as they are already available in full text. Books or articles/chapters from books also cannot be ordered through LEA.

Here’s how it works

• Search the KIT catalog for the journal you want.

• Enter the title of the journal, not the article.

• In the details view, select “Order Article Copy (LEA)” and log in with your KIT account (a library account is required to place an order).

• Fill out the order form.

• The desired article will be scanned for you and sent to you via email.

• Delivery usually takes 24 hours.
