Siren Alarm Due to Fire Alarm System Testing

At the KIT Library South, an inspection of the fire alarm systems by an expert will take place on Friday, September 4, in the old building (Bldg. 30.50) and on Monday, September 7, 2026, in the new building (Bldg. 30.51).

As part of the inspection, the audible alarms and sirens will be activated; therefore, please expect a loud alarm sound to be heard starting at 9 a.m. Since audibility must be tested on all floors, this is expected to take some time.
