Publications, research data, and scholarly contributions should be visible and clearly attributed to the individuals behind them. KITopen and ORCID work together to achieve this: KITopen makes research output at KIT visible and creates a central database. ORCID ensures a permanent, globally unique identity for researchers.

With “One ID. A lifetime of impact.”, the KIT Library is highlighting this connection. The initiative demonstrates how KITopen and ORCID work together, the benefits of this integration, and how it can be utilized.
