KIT Library advises KIT researchers on publishing, handles administrative tasks related to publication management, and provides publication infrastructure. In addition, the KIT Publication Fund covers publication fees in genuine open-access journals.
It also provides advice on fundamental aspects and framework conditions of publishing, such as research impact, copyright, and open licenses, and provides an overview of applicable guidelines and policies. Through the Office for Good Research Practice and Ethical Principles (Office GWP) maintains close communication.
