Contract Term: 2024–2028

The following services are available through KIT Library:

• Reader access:
  As a KIT member, you have access to the publisher’s journal portfolio.
• Open Access publishing:
  As a KIT “corresponding author,” you have the option to publish in Open Access under the existing “Publish and Read” agreement with the publisher, with no limit on the number of articles.
  KIT Library covers the costs for articles in the publisher’s Hybrid Open Access journals and genuine Open Access journals (Gold Open Access). For Gold Open Access publications, please submit an application for funding through the KIT Publication Fund.
  If you agree to additional achievements (e.g., color illustrations or extra length) with the publisher, the publisher will bill you directly for these. Please send these invoices to openaccess∂bibliothek.kit.edu, specifying the cost center, and we will handle the rest for you (without covering the costs).
• Mandatory affiliation information:
  To ensure cost coverage and the clear assignment of your publication, it is important that you list KIT as your affiliation. Use your KIT email address (@kit.edu) during the submission process so that the article can be assigned to KIT.
