Project Duration: July 2011 – December 2012

As part of the FIS-OAR project, KIT’s Research Information System (FIS) is being expanded into a modern open-access repository (OAR) that meets all the requirements of the research cycle. This initiative builds on KIT’s existing open-access infrastructure and completes the concept of a comprehensive service and reporting system for researchers and research administrators at KIT. Furthermore, the upgraded Research Information System makes the full text of scientific publications immediately available online to a global audience.
