Project Duration: January 1, 2022 – December 31, 2023

The project “Concept Development and Prototype-Based Practical Testing of a Mobility Data Trust Agency, TreuMoDa, in the Field of Automated Driving Using the Baden-Württemberg Autonomous Driving Test Field” aims to design an independent, nonprofit interface that enables the data-protection-compliant provision and use of mobility data by academia, industry, and society according to transparent criteria. The goal is to develop a concept for a mobility data trust agency that is ready for practical application and to test its key aspects through pilot trials. In doing so, the business model, legal form, and financing options for establishing a neutral, independent, yet sustainably funded trust agency will be developed in collaboration with stakeholders. In addition, a network will be established with relevant national and international initiatives, such as the consortia of the National Research Data Infrastructure.
