MoMaF is one of four Science Data Centers funded through the MWK’s state digitization strategy, digital@bw. MoMaF’s goal is to establish a comprehensive virtual research environment (VRE) for the research areas of molecular chemistry, macromolecular chemistry/surface chemistry, and virtual materials development. The VFU supports researchers throughout the entire research process, from data collection and analysis in electronic lab notebooks (ELNs) to archiving and publication in repositories. The discipline-specific ELNs developed in the project, along with their associated interoperable repositories, ensure the efficient and sustainable management of research data, including through the implementation of the FAIR Open Data principles.
