Project Duration: May 2019 – April 2023

The Baden-Württemberg Support and Further Development Project for Research Data Management (bw2FDM) is intended to continue and expand upon the structures and results of the predecessor projects bwFDM-Info I and bwFDM-Info II. A key objective of the new project is to successfully coordinate the establishment of Science Data Centers (SDCs) in Baden-Württemberg. This includes activities that ensure networking among the SDCs and increase their visibility within the research communities in Germany and Europe. The aim is to support the interoperability and cross-regional use of the services developed. The further development of the information platform forschungsdaten.info and the continuation of the E-Science Days conference series also support this goal. Furthermore, this is intended to raise awareness of research data management within the scientific communities and to bring together expertise beyond the SDCs.
