Project Duration: November 2015 – April 2017

Research data management (RDM) supports researchers in the easy processing and long-term preservation of all types of scientific data. Based on the needs identified in the state-level project bwFDM-Communities, bwFDM-Info provides researchers with consolidated information on a wide range of issues related to the handling of research data. The project is divided into several core areas:

• Development of an information web portal
• Provision of a data management planning tool (DMPI)
• Coordination of state e-science initiatives in the field of RDM
