The FID Chemistry aims to establish a needs-based and user-friendly range of services to support researchers in molecular chemistry. As part of the project, the ChemPortal web service portal will be developed and made available, offering centralized access to research-relevant information and linking to other relevant specialized services. The project also focuses on the further development and promotion of Open Science, the licensing of databases, and the development of new methods for information communication. As part of an interdisciplinary network, the FID Chemistry works closely with other specialized FIDs and NFDIs, as well as chemical societies.
