Project Duration: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026

The KI@helpBW project, developed under the leadership of the KIT Library and the Writing Lab at the House of Competence in cooperation with other universities in Baden-Württemberg, has already proven itself as a key initiative for fostering AI competencies in academic studies and teaching and has received widespread recognition. Through its “Online Course: Researching and Writing with Text-Generating AI” and innovative assessment methods, KI@helpBW facilitates a practical and academically sound exploration of AI-supported research and writing processes. Now, types of higher education institutions that were not previously included are being integrated into the existing network to ensure comprehensive, target-group-specific teaching of AI skills. Through interdisciplinary and cross-institutional cooperation, participants are able to engage in a mutual transfer of knowledge that contributes to a deeper understanding of the use of text-generating AI in various disciplines.
