Project Duration: Jan. 2018 – Dec. 2020

The multilingual RDMO will enable research projects to organize research data management throughout the entire project using an updatable plan and to adapt it as needed. The institutions and individuals involved in the research projects will be able to gain an overview of the data management tasks and the resulting data products. This allows for better planning of tasks such as storage capacities or deadlines for data uploads. Building on the results of the predecessor project RDMO (formerly the FDMP tool) and based on specific feedback and needs from the target groups, four sub-goals are being pursued:

1. Expansion of the Organizer to manage data management throughout the entire project.
2. Simplifying integration into users’ infrastructure.
3. Establishing a presence in the community through workshops for users and stakeholders in research data management, and developing training materials.
4. Ensuring sustainability and continuity in collaboration with initiatives such as EScience Baden-Württemberg and other institutions from scientific organizations and universities.
