Guideline zum Publizieren von Forschungsdaten für Forschende am KIT (German only)

"We are drowning in data but can't find it"
York Sure-Vetter, NFDI

Under the motto “Show me your data!”, the KIT library has developed a guideline for publishing research data, which provides a practical introduction to the publication of research data for researchers at KIT. The guideline informs about the importance of data publications in the context of good scientific practice and the FAIR principles. It supports researchers with information on institutional regulations, legal framework conditions and technical implementation options.

It addresses issues such as data storage in repositories, the importance of metadata and licenses, publication via data journals and the handling of sensitive data. This gives researchers at KIT a better understanding of how they can make data - as valuable products of their research - visible, comprehensible and reusable.

A PDF version can be downloaded from the Guideline (German only). The flyer is linked here.
