New trainees at the KIT Library
On September 1, two new trainees began their training as media and information services specialists (FaMI) with a focus on libraries at the KIT Library.
Over the next two years, they will learn about the various areas of activity in an academic library – from the acquisition and cataloging of media to digital services and support for research, teaching, and study.
The recognized training occupation of FaMI provides practical training in how information institutions structure, make accessible, and sustainably secure knowledge.
We warmly welcome our new trainees and wish them a successful training period.
