KohaCon 2026 is coming to Karlsruhe!

The international conference of the Koha community is being hosted by the KIT Library for the first time.

Karlsruhe has been selected as the venue for KohaCon 2026. The KIT Library would like to express its sincere thanks to everyone who took part in the public vote and cast their vote for Karlsruhe.

KohaCon is the annual meeting of the Koha community: open, collaborative, free of charge – and held on a different continent every year. In 2026, Karlsruhe invites library staff and Koha enthusiasts from all over the world to exchange ideas, make new contacts, and further develop the library software together.

The KIT Library is looking forward to hosting this international conference and presenting Karlsruhe as a place for innovation and collaboration in librarianship.
