Opening hours at Easter 2026
KIT Library South
The KIT Library South will be open 24 hours a day between Good Friday, April 3, 2026, and Easter Monday, April 6, 2026. On these days, access to the library is only possible with a valid library card. The Info Desk in the foyer and the reading rooms will not be staffed. Security staff are present and available in the foyer at all times.
KIT Library North and other locations
The KIT Library North, the subject libraries at Campus South, the Learning Center at Fasanenschlösschen, the InformatiKOM as well as the subject libraries of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Karlsruhe (DHBW) and the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA) will remain closed from April 3 to 6, 2026 inclusive.
