Refurbishment work at KIT-Bibliothek Nord (BIB-N)

Refurbishment work will take place in the lobby/entrance area of the BIB-N from April 27 through May 8, 2026 (tentatively).

Access to the KIT-Bibliothek Nord (KIT Library North) cannot be ensured via the main entrance during this period. This also applies to access to the restrooms on the ground floor.
For users of the BIB-N, the door in the corridor to the pavilion (= emergency exit door) will be open during library opening hours. The access route outside will be labeled.

The research, lending and payment stations in the foyer will be relocated from Wednesday, April 22nd. Their use will be restricted during this period. Loaning and returning items at the information desk will remain possible.
