KIT Library at the BiblioCon 2026

Lectures, posters and interactive formats in Berlin

BiblioCon is the central specialist congress for the library and information world in German-speaking countries. The KIT Library will also be represented in Berlin in 2026 from May 19 to 22 with numerous contributions.

Under the motto "Analog meets Algorithm", the focus will be on current developments between classic library tasks and digital innovations - topics that are also reflected in the contributions of the KIT Library.

Among other things, the presentations will highlight 30 years of the Karlsruhe Virtual Catalog (KVK), the use of AI chatbots and topics relating to open science and research data management.

Other current projects from the KIT Library will be presented in the poster exhibition and the interactive game "OApoly" invites you to join in.

We are looking forward to numerous encounters and an inspiring exchange in Berlin.
