Event Day on July 24, 2026, at the KIT Library South

Twenty years ago, the KIT Library South became one of the first major academic libraries in Germany to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. What began in 2006 as an innovative concept is now an integral part of campus life for many students and researchers. We will celebrate this special anniversary on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Look forward to expert presentations, guided tours, a photo spot, and the opportunity to chat with one another. The highlight of the day will be the “Come Together” event at 12:24 p.m. in the cafeteria on the ground floor.

9:36 a.m.: #KVK30 – 30 Years of the Karlsruhe Virtual Catalog (KVK)
