CANCELED: Research data management at a glance - RDM basics
This workshop will take place as an online seminar. All registered participants will receive the login details for the online meeting by e-mail.
Have you backed up and stored all data from your thesis?
Research data are the foundation and result of scientific work. Conscious and sustainable handling of this valuable knowledge resource increases the effectiveness of research and is an integral part of good scientific practice. Research data management (RDM) comprises the organization and management of data that originate during a research process. Among other things, this includes documentation of research work, analysis, storage, and long-term archiving of data.
In this course, you will receive an introduction to the fundamentals of RDM and learn about the key models and processes associated with it. As part of this, you will hear about measures for the strategic design of RDM, from planning to processing or collaborative editing to the publication of research data.
